British Standard Whitworth taps were the first to set standards for consistent dimensions. Regal provides 55 degree thread angle taps made on American ANSI standard blanks. Still common in some industries, most have been replaced with metric standards. Straight flute hand taps are the most common and of course Regal can provide any special design in a very short amount of time.
