Spiral point carbide taps are made from the finest micrograin carbide and are designed to cut steel as well as non-ferrous materials. Hook angles achieved assist in the free cutting of hard and abrasive materials. The newer grades of micro-grain carbide allow designs incorporating high shear angles with the strength of carbide. These taps will thread steels and hard and abrasive materials. Spiral point is designed to push chips forward and not conflict with the cutting action.
