A good selection for milling high strength or abrasive heat resistant alloys. Center cutting feature allows spot drilling, slotting and profiling. The construction features a heavy core which eliminates deflection while the long flute length engages the cut overcoming the tangential force. Four or more fluted cobalt tools employ larger core designs to maximize production utilizing multiple cutting surfaces to spread the cutting load. These tools are made with flute designs deep enough to maintain adequate chip disposal and provide the rigidity needed for it’s size.
