A Cobalt fine pitch rougher for high stock removal in difficult to machine materials. The form of this style may produce a satisfactory finish and a finishing pass may not be necessary. Center holes at both ends enables a user to resharpen the end mill by grinding the face of the flute without distorting the roughing form. Finishing end mills may not be needed when using the fine pitch cobalt rougher, depending on the surface finish requirements. Cobalt steel combined with flute design to maximize chip removal makes this a tool with great production capabilities. With center holes on both ends regrinding the flute face is accomplished on a tool and cutter grinder.
