These extension pipe taps produce either NPT or NPTF compliant threads. They are available in up to 12″ lengths in sizes to 1/4″ and 10″ lengths up to 1″. General purpose taps can be used in many applications where reach due to the part configuration or holding method dictate a longer tool.

For tap applications which require use of extra length taps
Provides extra length for tapping hubs of pulleys, oil caps and set screws
